What "Trusted Professional" Means

Every professional in the Trusted Professionals directory is a member of the Gracefully Aging Network who has agreed to our standards. Here's what that means — and what it doesn't.

The standards our professionals agree to follow

To join and remain in the Network, every professional agrees to a Code of Conduct. In plain terms, they commit to:

  • •Act in the best interest of older adults — recommending what fits your situation, even when it isn't a sale for them.
  • •Be honest and transparent about their services, costs, and limits — without overstating what they can do.
  • •Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the older adults and families they serve.
  • •Keep their published profile accurate and current, so what you read is reliable.

What the Network reviews

  • •Membership application. Every professional completes an application that a real person on our team reviews before approving.
  • •Agreement to the Code of Conduct. Membership requires accepting these standards in writing.
  • •Profile review before listing. A professional's public profile is reviewed by the Network before it appears in the directory.
  • •Ongoing expectations. Members are expected to keep their information current, and concerns about a member can be raised with the Network.

What we don't verify or guarantee

Being listed means a professional is a reviewed Network member — it is not a license, endorsement, or promise of results. The Network does not independently verify or guarantee:

  • •Professional licenses, certifications, or credentials.
  • •Backgrounds, employment history, or business practices.
  • •The quality, safety, or outcome of any service a professional provides.
  • •Pricing, availability, or fit for your specific situation.

You make the decision

The directory is a starting point, not a final answer. Before hiring or engaging any professional — Network member or not — we encourage you to make your own decision: ask about licenses and insurance, check references, compare options, and choose the person and service that feel right for you and your family.
